Deep within the jungle-covered hills and shadowy mist that covered much of central Acamiajem lied an unusual wooden temple that was carved into the side of the buttress root of a massive tree. Built by the Ravan Birchal that first populated the peninsula, the wooden tower was known as the ancient Temple of Okru. Its origin dated back to 225 MA.
The temple was devoted to Okru, the pagan god of the Birchal race. The Temple of Okru was considered by some to possess the very essence of voodoo magic.

Description
This wooden tower was ornately carved in dark red brimwood. However, due to its age it appeared weathered and worn. The temple had five stories with a manor at its top level. It was accessed by a wooden door that was carved out of the buttress root the temple was built from.
The temple and the tree it was built into lied within a bog that was marked by huge Bogwood trees that formed an enormous canopy over the temple and the surrounding bog, which kept the area in dim light during the day and darkness at night. The area was also marked by numerous dead trees and swamp thorns
