Description

Physically, the Jeckel were smaller and more slender than their Grey Wulfurian cousins. Despite their lean build, they possessed remarkable agility, moving with a swiftness few could match. Most of them were highly adept with ranged weaponry, their skill with bows bordering on legendary. Among them, it was said that a bow was more than a weapon; it was a Jeckel’s closest companion, as reliable as their own instincts.

Ranger Profession

With an extraordinary sense of smell, the Jeckel could detect the faintest traces of any creature that had passed through an area, making them unparalleled trackers. Their abilities in this regard were so finely honed that many Jeckel found their calling as rangers, feared and respected for their skill in navigating the wilderness and hunting their prey with unmatched precision.

Burrows

The Jeckel did not live in traditional villages but instead crafted homes known as “burrows,” structures both humble and ingenious, blending seamlessly into the landscape. These burrows were constructed primarily of earth, stone, and wood, often with timber frames supporting the design. They were mostly subterranean, with only a few feet rising above the surface, camouflaged beneath a roof of carefully manicured hay or long, thick grass.
