Jurell were a common race in Eos and they have lived among humans for eons and have formed a strong bond with them.

Like other races in the Wildlands, there were subraces of jurell, each with their own characteristics.

General Description

Jurell looked similar to humans, with some distinct differences. They were shorter than humans, averaging 5′ 3″ tall. The very tallest jurell would grow to 5′ 9″, also had small, pointed ears and their skin was either copper, bronze, grey or pale blue skin depending on their subrace.

Earthen

Earthen jurell were creatures of the Earth. However, they were not subterranean and they dwelled mostly above the surface of Eos. While short in physical stature, they were physically strong for their size. They also possessed special abilities to change the color of their skin to different shades of brown and even light green to match their natural surroundings. This allowed them to hide themselves in forested or even certain rocky terrains. Earthen jurell were known to possess high Wisdom.

Ashen

Ashen jurell were less common than Earthen and Lunara jurell. They primarily lived below ground and in the Everdeep, however, many were also surface dwellers.  This jurellian subrace had gray skin and muted featured such as white or grey hair, and silver eyes. The natural skin of all Ashen jurell appeared weathered, cracked and aged even when in their youth. Ashen jurell were known for the Charisma and leadership abilities, as well as their talents in stone carving.

Lunara

Lunara jurell were the most common jurell subrace. They were also considered the most intelligent. Above all other jurellian races, it was the lunara who had forged the strongest bond with the humans of Eos. Most lunara were followers of the Twilight sect and were Astropagans. Many were known to practiced Astromancy.
