The Arca’non Pantheon was once revered by the denizens of both the skies and the seas—humanoids who dwelled in the air and beneath the waves, as well as other intelligent, oceanic creatures. In a time long forgotten, they bowed before these mighty deities, seeking their favor or fearing their wrath.
There had been eight gods and five goddesses of the Anaqua, the wind and air, and four gods and four goddesses of the Aquaris, the seas.
Anaqua Deities:
Alyanamoor – Keeper of Winds
Mistress of the skies, Alyanamoor commanded the swift winds, guiding birds in flight and ships at sea. Her whispers could summon tempests or deliver gentle breezes.
Tridantuss – God of the Deep
Dwelling in the darkest chasms, Tridantuss held dominion over the vast, unexplored depths. His voice was said to echo through the water like a deep, rumbling quake.
Jaxala – God of Waves
Jaxala was the eternal shaper of the ocean’s surface, creating both tranquility and chaos. Sailors would pray to him for calm seas, but feared his unpredictable nature.
Aravass – Goddess of the Sky
Aravass reigned over the endless blue dome, from horizon to horizon. She painted the sunsets and conjured the storms that swept through the heavens.
Avollath – Goddess of Creation
The mother of life and form, Avollath crafted the first beings from the winds and tides. Her breath filled the world with creatures of air and sea alike.
Relgoure, the Just One – God of Law and Order
Relgoure upheld the balance between chaos and control. His decrees shaped the laws of nature and man, and his judgment was swift and unwavering.
Janaress – God of War & Conquest
The bringer of bloodshed, Janaress was revered by those who sought power through force. He embodied the primal urge for dominance, whether on land, sea, or sky.
Etharus – God of Storms
Etharus wielded lightning and thunder as his weapons. His fury was unparalleled, and when he unleashed his wrath, no land or ocean was spared from devastation.
Ulrunar – God of the Earth
Guardian of the land beneath the sky, Ulrunar ruled over the solid ground and the mountains that pierced the heavens. He was as unyielding as the stone.
Enatharia – Goddess of Arcana
The keeper of ancient knowledge and hidden magics, Enatharia held the keys to the mystic arts. Her followers sought her favor to unlock the arcane mysteries of the world.
Drulgar – God of Black Waters (Evil)
From the foulest, most cursed waters, Drulgar emerged. He brought disease and death to those who dared cross his poisoned domain.
Maxilor – God of Death (Evil)
Maxilor, feared above all, ushered souls into the abyss. His cold hand claimed both land-dwellers and sea-creatures alike, offering no mercy in the face of death.
Venexa – Goddess of the Underdeep (Evil)
Venexa ruled the hidden, terrifying world beneath the ocean’s floor. Her dominion was shadowed and sinister, filled with creatures that lurked in the blackness.
Aquaris Deities:
Mia – Goddess of Life (Aquatic)
The giver of life to all ocean-dwelling creatures, Mia nourished the seas with her boundless energy. Her presence was felt in every coral reef and thriving aquatic ecosystem.
Koro – God of Death
Koro was the inevitable end that awaited all oceanic beings. His domain was the silent, still waters where the souls of the drowned came to rest.
Jiril – God of Waves
Jiril controlled the rhythmic pulse of the tides, forever in motion. His influence was seen in the rise and fall of the ocean, shaping coastlines and guiding currents.
Fionne – Goddess of the Sun & Sky
Fionne lit the heavens, casting her light over both sky and sea. Her rays nurtured the waters, and sailors worshipped her for favorable weather and safe passage.
Drakka, “King of the Wind” – God of Sailing
Known as the guide of sailors, Drakka’s favor determined the fate of voyages. His winds could carry ships swiftly to their destinations—or dash them upon the rocks.
Anthenarus – Goddess of Sea Beasts
Anthenarus commanded the great creatures of the deep—whales, sea serpents, and leviathans. She was revered by fishermen, feared by those who ventured too far into her beasts’ hunting grounds.
Eldatha – Goddess of Knowledge
Eldatha held the secrets of the ocean’s vast history. Her temples were sought by scholars and mystics seeking the truths hidden in the abyss.
Bellneross – God of War
Bellneross was the embodiment of martial strength beneath the waves. His trident was a symbol of conflict, and his warriors fought fiercely for dominance over the seas.
Seeunthuras – Aquaris Worm
Seeunthuras, the massive, serpentine being, slithered through the deepest trenches. Worshipped as a force of untamed destruction, it was a creature whose hunger was never sated.
