Long ago, the Droogas were feared and despised as one of the most savage races to stalk the wilderness of the known world. Nomadic and tribal, they carved a bloody path through countless regions, driven by a relentless hunger for flesh—particularly the flesh of humanoid creatures. This insatiable appetite defined their very existence, marking them as chaotic and evil by every civilization they encountered.
Though no definitive origin story has survived the ages, legends suggest the Droogas were born of an ancient curse, wrought by the Ides Pantheon themselves. A mortal race once sought forbidden power, defying the gods of the elements. In their hubris, they performed dark rites that twisted their forms and souls into grotesque parodies of their former selves. Whether or not this tale holds truth, it is known that the Droogas have been despised and hunted by all other races for as long as history remembers.
Description
Droogas stood nearly seven feet tall, their skeletal frames wrapped in taut, pale grey skin that appeared lifeless and cold. Their bodies bore no hair, leaving them with a ghastly appearance reminiscent of an undead ghoul, though they were very much living beings. Their faces were particularly horrifying, with hollow, sunken features, large fangs stained a sickly yellow, and tongues as black as night. Their eyes ranged from a jaundiced yellow to a void-like coal black, and these eerie orbs were said to strike terror into the hearts of even seasoned warriors.
Despite their lean build, the Droogas were monstrously strong, their wiry muscles capable of tearing apart prey with brutal efficiency. Their agility made them adept hunters, favoring ambush tactics to bring down their victims. They thrived on raw meat, their tribal feasts often involving horrifying rituals where they consumed their kills fresh, celebrating their brutal victories with guttural chants.

Tribal Culture
Droogas lived in nomadic packs, never settling in one place for long. These tribes were bound by a brutal hierarchy in which the strongest ruled without question. Ritual combat was commonplace, not only as a means of leadership selection but also as a form of entertainment. The Droogas’ spiritual beliefs were a dark reflection of their violent nature—they worshipped twisted interpretations of the Ides Pantheon, particularly gods associated with death and decay, whom they believed blessed their hunt.
Feared across the Wildlands, the Droogas were not merely hunters—they were nightmares given form. Where their dark tribes roamed, desolation and death followed.
